The Finnish Psychiatric Association, in co-operation with the Nordic Psychiatric Associations, is
organizing the 33rd Nordic Congress of Psychiatry, NCP2021 Virtual, on June 17th – 18th, 2021. The
congress, organized every third year in a Nordic or Baltic country, is an esteemed international
scientific psychiatric congress, connecting professionals especially from the Nordic and Baltic
countries. The congress will be organized on a virtual platform, allowing for safe and easy
participation from all around the World. Our congress slogan ”Connecting Minds” is now more timely
than ever.

Our scientific program consists of top-quality plenary lectures and symposia. The topics of the plenary
lectures by world-renowned speakers range from the genetics of psychiatric traits to RCTs related to
improving treatment of psychotic illnesses and from the brain basis of social interaction to the future
of psychotherapy, not forgetting adolescent mental health issues and public health needs and
responses in the context of COVID-19. You can view our preliminary program on our webpage:

The registration is now open! Please make sure to take advantage of our early bird fee, available until
April 18th, 2021. Submission of abstracts is open until the end of February. All accepted abstracts will
be published in a supplementary issue of the Nordic Journal of Psychiatry. The whole congress
program will be recorded and available afterwards to all participants for up to 1 month after the
congress without additional fees.
You are most warmly welcome!
